Changes...

So a few things have changed in the Permenter house since the last blog.
Seasons have changed.I love FALL WEATHER!!!
Jeff has changed jobs.He's now working for Poor Boy Tree Service out of Fair Play,Missouri.He works a little north of Vian on Blackgum Mountain.Still tree trimming tho,but I'm so glad he found something he loves to do.That's hard in this life.The downfall of his new job is he is gone a couple nights a week but he only works 4 1o hour days.Which is wonderful.Today was his 1st day.This company is better than the 1 he left in so many ways.God has truly blessed us yet again and we thank Him every day for that.
We have started going to church every time the door is open.We have changed the way we live,things we do,things we say.We are trying to live right and the best way we can for our family.
Eli gave up the bottle on the day he turned 18 months.
Dixie is still working on using the potty.
And as for me,well I'm still doing the same old stuff.Cleaning,cooking,taking care of kids.Just living life.I've also started cleaning for a lady once a week but it's only temporary but i'm still thankful.Every little bit helps and goes farther than you might think.

Family sickness :(

Well it's that time of year again.SICK SEASON.Jeff,Eli & I are all sick,but Dixie isn't.I hope she doesn't get it.Our sickness consists of runny nose,sore throat,cough.No it's not "swine flu" none of us have all the symptoms & to my knowledge have not been exposed to it.Eli is so much better though,he hasn't gotten that bad,just a runny nose & Jeff is the same.But I have a really congested cough and it really sucks.I had to work today.I clean houses for those that don't know.So if you need someone to clean for you once or once a week or whatever you need let me know.

Deleting my new blog acct

I've decided to delete my new blog acct that I made when I couldn't remember my log-in info for this 1.Since i've got this 1 going again no need to have 2.

Dentist Appt. Update

To my surprise my babies did really well.They weren't as scared & worried as I thought they would be.They weren't fearless but i thought we were going to have some major meltdowns.We didn't.The environment of the place helps alot.They have an arcade room,a playstation,wii,fish tank,toys,& a train that goes all the time overhead.It was fun for me too,the game part anyway.I am SO VERY proud of my babies.Eli got a good report & Dixie did as well,but she has 8 cavities that will have to be taken care of in the next few visits.We go back for that in January.I CANNOT get over how well they did.I am 1 very proud momma

Dentist Appointments...

So tomorrow is going to be a very interesting day.Eli's 1st dentist appt & Dixie's 2nd.My kids are deathly afraid of doctors & nurses.So i'm taking some backup.My mom.So i'll let you all know how it goes tomorrow.

Eli's 1st Birthday

Well Eli,my baby & my last at that,turned 1 yr old yesterday ! I cannot believe he is already a yr old !They grow too fast without us even realizing it.So my hubby and I are doing everything we can to make life wonderful & enjoyable for them and of course we are loving every minute of it as well.
Eli didn't care too much for the presents but absolutely loved the cake.He didn't tear into it,he just kinda picked at it but it was soooo cute.Dixie was the same way.My kids aren't big fans of getting dirty,but when they do they really make a mess !

MOVING...FINALLY!!

I have talked about this move motnhs ago things didn't work out & so now they have...FINALLY!!! We will be moving this weekend.So I will be so busy just like I have been for the past week.Hopefully the next blog I post things will be settled at The Permenter House!!

The Secret is Out!

Well I got some really awesome news this weekend,while at my mother-in-law's.We had plans on moving into their house,after they found a house they wanted.A couple of months ago we thought it was going to happen but things didn't work out and we had gave up hope.Well it is definately going to happen this time.The best part is we will be buying this house we're moving into,unlike the one we live in now,which we are renting.I HATE RENTING!!We are hoping to be moved in & settled by Valentine's Day!! I'm ready but at the same time I dread it.I don't like moving either,but this will be the last time possibly for the rest of our lives.For now we are just living in the moment.

Morning Son

So this morning Eli was playing with some of his toys in the floor,I had the door open as usual,the sun was shining in & in his face,& he giggled.That just touched my heart today.So precious.Who knew the sun was so funny!

Resolutions & such

I rarely make resolutions & if I do I rarely keep them.But this year is going to be different.Seems like everything is changing all around us.Some for the better & the rest,well,we will just have to see.So this year my resolution is to start a diet & lose weight.I'm doing good so far.I've lost 5 lbs in 5 days.I can't wait until summer to see the results by then.Wish me luck on that!
I have some other news but it's not all 100% yet so stay tuned!
